Den 17 juni 2024 utökades Nobelprismuseets föremålssamling med ett oftalmoskop. Instrumentet användes i Torsten Wiesels och David Hubels tidiga forskning. Denna handlar om hur ljus fångas upp av ljuskänsliga celler i näthinnan i ögat för att där omvandlas till signaler som skickas till hjärnan och omvandlas till synintryck.
Instrumentet skapades ursprungligen av Torsten Wiesels mentor Stephen Kuffler. Vid överlämningen betonade Torsten Wiesel hur viktigt det är med mentorer, särskilt tidigt i karriären.

Eyvind Johnsons familj, som donerar nycklarna, har länge kallat denna samling för ”Krilons nycklar”. Det är en anspelning på Eyvind Johnsons romantrilogi om Krilon, där ett kapitel heter ”Johannes Krilons nycklar”. Böckerna gavs ut mellan 1941 - 1943 och speglar det pågående världskriget. I kapitlet om nycklarna begrundar Krilon sitt liv med utgångspunkt i ett skrin med gamla nycklar:

Eyvind Johnson’s family, who are donating the keys, have long referred to this collection as “Krilon’s Keys”. This is an allusion to Eyvind Johnson’s trilogy of novels about Krilon, a fictitious Stockholm real estate broker, where one chapter is called “Johannes Krilon’s Keys”. The books were published between 1941 and 1943 and reflect the ongoing World War. In the chapter about the keys, Krilon contemplates his life from the point of view of a box of old keys:
"... Memories of keys tied together, of pairs of keys that were divided, memories of key siblings that belonged together and were separated, of lone keys and key rings where a single key remained as a testimony to the set of keys that had once been a home, a world."

Nelly Sachs resväska påminner oss om Europa under andra världskriget och den flykt som tog mor och dotter från nazisternas terror i Berlin till Sverige. Innehållet i resväskan var det enda de fick med sig. Gåvan lämnades över till museet från författaren Aris Fioretos som haft väskan de senaste femton åren.

The Nobel Prize Museum was visited by 2021 literature laureate Abdulrazak Gurnah in April 2022. During his visit, he donated his dictionary and took the opportunity to sign a chair in the museum's Bistro. Abdulrazak Gurnah donated his dictionary to the Nobel Prize Museum.
Abdulrazak Gurnah brought with him his Oxford English Dictionary, which has sat on his desk and he has used for decades. Gurnah's notes and underlinings in the well-worn dictionary confirm that it has served as an important tool for him.

Description English:
The Nobel Prize Museum was visited by 2021 literature laureate Abdulrazak Gurnah in April 2022. During his visit, he donated his dictionary and took the opportunity to sign a chair in the museum's Bistro. Abdulrazak Gurnah donated his dictionary to the Nobel Prize Museum.
Abdulrazak Gurnah brought with him his Oxford English Dictionary, which has sat on his desk and he has used for decades. Gurnah's notes and underlinings in the well-worn dictionary confirm that it has served as an important tool for him.

Inspired by Alfred Nobel’s conservatory in his home in Paris, Bistro Nobel has been given a new design. As an extension of the atmosphere of the historic stock exchange building, we want to connect to Nobel’s life by creating a bistro with a sense of home, an oasis.

A unique ice cream made only for Nobel Prize Museum in collaboration with Daniel Roos, who has created the dessert at the Nobel Banquet four times. It is inspired from the old tradition of serving ice cream bombe at the festivities. It is only sold at Bistro Nobel.

Filmerna är gjorda av den Oscarsbelönade regissören Orlando von Einsiedel och biografen är ritad av designern och konstnären Fredrik Paulsen.

On 2 October, the Nobel Prize Museum is opening an outdoor cinema on Sergels Torg. For ten days, a series of documentary movies about Nobel Peace Prize laureates will be screened there. The movies were produced by the Award-winning director Orlando von Einsiedel and the cinema was conceived by designer and artist Fredrik Paulsen.

Flera av ljusinstallationerna har hämtat inspiration från årets och tidigare års Nobelpris. På Stadshusets fasad kommer bilder från rymdens yttersta hörn att visas upp. Installationen är ett av de största video-mappningsprojekten som staden någonsin har sett i samarbete med bl a Rymdstyrelsen och European Space Agency. Installationen har en tydlig koppling till årets fysikpris som gick till upptäckten av universums sällsammaste fenomen – svarta hål.

Imagery from the outer corners of space will be projected onto the facade of Stockholm City Hall. The installation is one of the largest video mapping projects the city has ever seen in collaboration with, among others, the Swedish Space Agency and the European Space Agency.
The installation has a clear connection to this year’s physics prize awarded to the discovery of the universe’s strangest phenomenon – black holes.
Nobel Week Lights will take place in Stockholm for the second year during the Nobel Week. Inspired by Nobel Prize-awarded discoveries and laureates, stunning artworks will light up the darkness this December. Hexx Øne is an homage to Isamu Akasaki, Hiroshi Amano and Shuji Nakamura who were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics 2014 for their research and for inventing the LED light. This is Calidas first modular installation, a 22m long structure based on 12 hexagonal arches and 7200 powerful RGB LED lights.

Unique artefacts from poet Wisława Szymborska donated to the Nobel Prize Museum.
A pair of glasses, a pen and a thank you card that belonged to Wisława Szymborska was added to the Nobel Prize Museum collection.
The objects had been selected by the Wisława Szymborska Foundation.
